After playing professionally, Jonathan Buchanan was certified by renowned golf instructor Jim McLean. It was then that Jonathan discovered his passion for teaching and he crafted the City Golf Club concept. The mission was simple, create a welcoming golf club environment—in the heart of the Dallas metroplex—that is by golfers for golfers.
In 2018, this mission came to life with the establishment of City Golf Club’s first location in Uptown Dallas. Jonathan has since received multiple recognitions for his teaching and golf expertise, including features in Golf Digest and Golf Magazine as top instructor. Fast forward to today and City Golf Club’s community continues to grow with the addition of two new locations in the Dallas metroplex—Preston Center and Cypress Waters.
